Old Me

I am currently offshore in my workplace. The internet connection is really really bad. Got a problem with my CS5 and am badly missing that post-editing ‘moment’.

Here are some of my old shots that I upload earlier on Flickr. Hope you guys enjoy it.

This is simply an ‘Old Me’

  1. And I’m wondering what’s the second to the last photo about. You’re photo of Malaysia is my favorite by the way. :)

    • Actually it’s the area where we’ll muster during an emergency (in my workplace offshore). Thanx for the comment.

These are amazing, that shadow of the couple – I’m obsessed. That could be an engagement photo shoot, but then at the same time it looks lonely.

    • Thanx for dropping by. That shot was made when I was in Oslo. Yup, that’s why I named it ‘A Walk To Remember’.

  18. Incredibly poignant photographs; I was very moved by their simplicity and sincerity. Amazing how you’ve captured such little, seemingly insignificant moments that make for spectacular images. :)

I like the imagery of the little boy/girl standing in the open doorway looking towards the field. Great pictures, thank you.

        February 15, 2012 at 19:00

    • Actually she’s my niece. It was taken on my brother’s wedding day. We were about to pack things up to call it a day when I (as an un-official photographer of the day) saw her walking towards my aunt (see a lady bending somewhere beneath the stairs?), and I grab my D90 (loaded with my Optimus prime Nikkor 35mm) to make the shot. I love the shot straight away! Thanx for the comment, Nate.

    Reblogged this on and commented:
Love the shots in this post. My favorite being the one of the little girl with the whispy curtain to her left. I think the composition in this particular shot is just breathtaking. There is something so emotive about it.

My second favorite shot is actually the 2nd photograph. With just the hands holding the jeans and tennis shoes at a crossed angle. Very pensive and contemplative. So much emotion, and I also love the composition in this shot.

    February 16, 2012 at 13:54

    • Thanx Photecstasy. That little girl is my niece on my brother’s wedding day. I love the shot the moment I looked thru the viewfinder!
